Totally. The more the merrier.
You should completely do this right now.
if you have a song to submit.
At this point, we prefer you host a copy of your cover on your own server, but you can also send a CD ( for the mailing address). Any materials you send us are not returnable for any reason, so don't mail any heirlooms.
Email enclosures are a very bad idea. Please don’t send us anything but text email.
More details and instruction on submitting a song are coming soon. Join the mailing list to learn the latest happs.
Here’s the submission paths in descending order of preference:
Under no conditions should you send us anything as an email attachment. Not to be a huge choad here, but attachments—especially anything not pre-approved—will be greeted with the same enthusiasm as a large human turd.
The preferred format is a 192 kbps MP3.
For the sake of file size, please don’t make your file much larger; for the sake of quality, please keep it above 128 kbps. We find 192 kbps provide a nice mix of compact size and adequate quality.
Please do not send or post files in lossless formats (flac, ape, aif, etc.); MP3 is what we’re looking for here (unless you’re sending a CD for us to rip).
No. Sorry.
We want to respect Mr. Oldham’s right to control his recorded music’s distribution (and frankly can’t risk the litigious consequences of not respecting it).
If we can get Will’s okey-dokey (write us, Will), we’d love to share an MP3 of “I am a Cinematographer” on a fair use basis.
Until then, here are the lyrics and tablature for the song. And, of course, you can pick up a copy of Days in the Wake, the Palace CD on which “I am a Cinematographer” originally appeared.
There’s currently not a deadline for submission, although there is likely to be at some point, depending on the final shape the project takes.
Still, there’s no time like the present, right? So get cracking.
Also, be sure to sign up for the low-volume mailing list to receive important announcements, deadlines, and whatnot
We’re thinking of posting them all to this site, so people can download them, listen, and leave comments.
Still haven’t decided for sure.
No. There’s no plan for that.
Lots of ways.
if you want to submit a song or otherwise pitch in.
It’s called Drupal, and it’s free, cool and easy-to-use.

Sure thing. Right here.
